Nathan's primary focus is helping others discover pathways toward self-empowerment and actualization, while successfully navigating complex systems, and overcoming challenges. Based on lived experience, training & practice, knowledge & research, Nate has developed an authentic and person-centered appreciation for helping others.
Over the last 10 years Nathan helped establish South Carolina's statewide Recovery Services Project and founded the Recovery Institute of South Carolina (RISC). In addition to directing One|Life Wellness, Nathan serves as the Clinical Director for Tapestry Brevard, a residential treatment program for Eating Disorders and Co-occuring Mental Health Conditions.

Kayla Stanley, MSW, LMSW

Kayla Stanley graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a focus in veteran services, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Substance Use Disorders (SUD) with a minor in Innovation. Kayla went on to graduate with her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Walden University in 2020 with a focus in Advanced Clinical Social Work and Addiction. Her extensive experience in health care agencies, inpatient and outpatient facilities, and hospice services has driven her desire to work with older adults, families, and service-connected individuals.
She specializes in areas of grief, trauma, addiction recovery, serious mental illnesses, and case management services. Kayla’s love for nature, music, and exploration drives her unique approach which includes various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, and motivational interviewing. She is eager to assist clients from all different walks of life through evidence-based services, support, and resources utilizing a person-centered approach for individualized care.
